About Us
Our Story
DataBridge is be a Social Enterprise, enabling government and socially driven organizations to be able to harness and use data to create positive social and environmental impact within their communities.
DataBridge was founded to respond to the need of LGU’s for efficient collection, collation, storage, analysis and reporting of data. In 2020 Single Drop Consultancy Services (SDCS), Ugat ng Kalusugan (UNK), and DSA Software Corporation formed a joint venture to provide the Puerto Princesa City local government with a Vaccination Information Management System and Immunization Registry (VIMS-IR) to manage its Covid-19 vaccination program.
Community Development
Both SDCS and UNK have a long successful history working with LGUs to develop capacities for basic service delivery in water and sanitation and reproductive health. The need for accurate and comprehensive data is paramount for LGU’s to plan and implement development programs on their own or with development partners. With the success of VIMS-IR, the Joint Venture developed the Comprehensive Household Information System (CHIS) with the Puerto Princesa City Health, Population Development (Popdev) and Disaster Risk Reduction Management (DRRM) offices. Working with the users of the information and formulating the outputs in line with mandated data requirements, and then piloting the collection systems with the barangays an infinitely expandable system was developed.
The Software Solution
DSA Software Corporation is located in Cotabato City and is a Filipino application and database developer and spearheaded the system development based on SDCS/UNK and LGU inputs throughout the development process for all three systems. DSA’s experience of working with cloud computing, application development expertise and the increasing availability of internet access has allowed the development of flexible, user-friendly systems that provide decision makers at all levels of government with the information for informed planning and decision making.
The Sum of the Parts…
In 2023 DataBridge was formed by the principles of the three organizations to take over from the Joint Venture Agreement to manage development and implementation of digital products for LGU’s and Social Impact Organizations. Other key components of DataBridge are; ensuring that data privacy and security is maintained, hotline technical assistance, system maintenance, data storage and working with the customer to enhance and expand the system as needed. The three organizations and the talent housed in those organizations will still be harnessed for the process as contractors to DataBridge.
